Altitude 2016 Day Three

Hitting midweek at Altitude Comedy Festival 2016 and the audience knew what was coming – a stunning day on the slopes followed by a world class night of comedy. And Wednesday was exactly that!

The Clown Hill Race is always a chance for the Altitude comedians to show off their skills on the slopes, and so the whole crew ascended the Ahorn for the annual sprint to the bottom. The race commenced at 2:30pm sharp, and they were off! A healthy mixture of skiers and snowboarders sped down the black run in the hope of being crowned top clown. In approximately 8.3 minutes, the clowns emerged at the bottom! Winning on skis was Tom and on snowboard, our very own Joel Dommett!

The excitement of the Clown Hill Race was over, and all moved to the Sports Bar to catch Abandoman wow a packed room with yet more improv genius. Michael Mittermeier had wowed the Gala crowd with his English show the previous night, and tonight was his German show. He proved over and over why he is the biggest and best comedian in Germany with a flawless set. The last show of the night was the Late Show with the amazingly talented Beardyman. He wowed the eclectic crowd with his improv prowess and musical skill, donning an amazingly complex set up to create sounds that seemed from out of this world.

Another awesome night at Altitude was over and we still can’t believe how mind blowingly brilliant every single set has been so far! More please!

See you tomorrow for Sean Lock, Daniel Sloss and loads more!
