The Thursday of Altitude Christmas is set to be another amazing day.
Having woken up, perhaps from a lie in, you’ll be met with this view!
After a few hours in the morning spent on the slopes, you’ll have plenty time to indulge yourself with a little spa session to rest your weary muscles. If the weather is nice, you could head up to Manni’s rooftop pool and soak up the views as you bathe…
If it’s not such a nice day, you can always head to the sheltered sanctuary within the Hotel Strass and truly spoil yourself to refresh for the day ahead.
By 1pm, you should have made yourself all the way up to the amazing ‘Red 7′ run a the top of the Penken Bahn, by the beautiful Schneekarhutte, nestled a top the moutains. There is not such an astounding structure as this impressive little pyramid in the whole of Mayrhofen.
At 2pm the infamous Clown Hill Race will commence, and if you’re a VIP you’ll have the chance to race against the (surprisingly competitive) comedians.
By 4pm we’ll recooperate at the Strass Hotel, where VIPs will have the chance to meet and greet the comedians whilst enjoying some complimentary food and drinks at the Altitude Christmas press party.
At 5.30 we will all reunite and get warmed up for the evening of comedy ahead, with another hilarious session from The International Impro Allstars, with yet another unsuspecting guest comedian for us to laugh along with (or at).
Then it will get really exciting as there’s another FIRST for Altitude - at 7pmwe’ll all be jumping on coaches departing from The Strass Hotel to take us to 18th century ‘kabaret’ venue Die Reme. If you’ve not had your dinner yet there will be traditional food available to purchase too while you settle down for the evening of comedy.
At 8.30, Altitude veteran and absolutely brilliant MC Kai Humphries will have you in stitches and ready for the night ahead. He’ll be joined by his partner in crime Daniel Sloss, the amazing Lou Sanders, Altitude co-founder Andrew Maxwell and your headliner, the utterly unpredictable Terry Alderton.
Once the entertainment is over, we’ll all head back on our coaches to the comfort of Mayrhofen. Where you go from there is in your hands…
