❄️ PAUL SMITH ❄️

The Après King of Comedy

Liverpool’s crowdwork king takes to the mountains! Paul Smith is a stand-up savant with faster reflexes than a falling snowboarder. Known for selling out HUGE arenas, roasting hecklers, and being the funniest lad in the Alps, Paul brings a warmth that’ll thaw even the iciest crowd. Whether he’s tearing into front-row banter or telling tales of stupid shenanigans, Paul’s comedy lifts higher than any ski gondola. He’s here to own the Altitude stage, no notes, no limits, just unfiltered hilarity. Get ready to be called out, cracked up, and utterly charmed.

❄️ AL MURRAY ❄️

The Pub Landlord Hits the Peaks

Pint in hand and passport revoked, Al Murray’s Pub Landlord ascends to the snowy peaks to defend his comedy empire now including Austria. A legendary character in British stand-up, Al serves up pints of satire with imperial confidence and frothy absurdity. Expect Brexit banter, Eurozone gags, and plenty of patriotic pub quiz wisdom as he commandeers the festival stage like a chalet landlord with a grudge against snowboarders. If laughter is the best medicine, the Pub Landlord is your legally prescribed après-ski tonic. No refunds, no ice, just full-fat funny.

Al Murray (The Pub Landlord)
@almurraycomedy

❄️ Jason Byrne ❄️

Off-Piste Pandemonium

Jason Byrne was the first comedian to ask to come back from last year and we couldn’t say no! He doesn’t just bring-the-chaos, he is an avalanche of it. Ireland’s maestro of madcap mayhem takes to the Altitude stage like a snowboarder with a death wish: fast, fearless, and fantastically funny. His physical comedy will leave you in stitches (and possibly a neck brace), while his improvised antics barrel downhill into glorious unpredictability. You don’t watch a Jason Byrne gig, you survive it. Expect tears, sweat, and laughter snowballing into a comedy whiteout. Warning: Jason cannot be tamed. Please remain seated during his set unless he tells you otherwise. Then do as you're told. He is Jason Byrne.

A multi-award-winning stand-up star, screen queen and now Dancing with the Stars 'Australia' sensation, Felicity is the comedic equivalent of an espresso martini on a chairlift: intense, unpredictable, and weirdly necessary.

You’ve seen her on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Roast Battle, Time Bandits, Wakefield, The Mash Report and most recently starring as Hannah Howard in Amazon Prime’s The Office (Australia) but trust us, she hits different at 2,000 metres.

@abandoman

MARCUS BRIGSTOCKE

ROB ROUSE

One of the 2024 stand-out comics... Rob Rouse is a blizzard of chaos and charm, Rob Rouse is pure snow-fuelled silliness. Think chickens, parenting disasters, and stories that veer wildly (and brilliantly) off-piste.

@robrousecomedy

ANDREW MAXWELL

MARK NELSON

He’s back. The undisputed Clown Hole headliner and the man who treats punchlines like black runs: steep, sharp, and dangerous.
Mark Nelson returns to Mayrhofen with his trademark blend of brutally honest storytelling, killer timing, and the ability to make you laugh and wince at the same time. A master of stand-up and a festival favourite, he’s the guy who says what everyone’s thinking and then 12 more things no one dared to.
You’ve been warned. If laughter is the best medicine, Mark’s bringing the stuff they keep behind the counter.

@marknelsoncomic

RYAN CULLEN

RYAN CULLEN

He caused a storm last time in the saunas and now Ryan Cullen is back to unleash another full-force avalanche of pitch-black comedy.
Returning to Altitude with his signature deadpan delivery and savage humour, Ryan’s the comic who’ll make you howl and then question your morals five seconds later. With Cullen, no topic is off-limits, and that’s just how we like it.

Dark, fast, and unforgiving. Just like Mayrhofen’s iciest slopes.

@ryancullencomedy

ANDREW MAXWELL

Glenn Wool is back in Mayrhofen and he’s bringing a blizzard of wild stories, razor-sharp rants, and glorious, gravel-voiced stand-up. A global comedy heavyweight with a passport full of gigs and a brain full of chaos, Glenn’s comedy is big, bold, and beautifully unfiltered. Whether he’s talking politics, parenting, or partying like it’s still 1999, his stories hit like a double shot of glühwein to the soul. A Fringe favourite and Altitude legend, Glenn is proof that wisdom and ridiculousness can exist in the same ski jacket. Prepare for philosophical detours and belly laughs at altitude.
@glenn_wool

RYAN CULLEN

GARETH WAUGH

Back in Mayrhofen with more charm than a chalet fondue chef, Gareth Waugh is the handsome but short comic with a laid-back style and killer punchlines that sneak up like a black run. Effortlessly funny and razor-sharp beneath the surface, Gareth turns everyday nonsense into brilliant, relatable stand-up gold. As seen on Breaking the News and The Comedy Underground, he’s one of Scotland’s most exciting voices  and a firm Altitude favourite. Expect subtle savagery, brilliant storytelling, and the kind of ski-lift banter you wish your mates were capable of.

@GarethWaugh

ANDREW MAXWELL

LORI SMITH

Cool, cutting, and crackling with energy,  Lori Smith is the rising star bringing glacial wit and volcanic punchlines to Mayrhofen. A fast-talking firestarter with savage insight, killer turns of phrase, and the kind of charm that makes even the most brutal punchline go down like a warm schnapps.

Whether she’s talking relationships, regrets, or just the daily absurdity of life, Lori slices through it all like a ski through fresh powder, stylish, sharp, and with absolutely no time for nonsense.

She’s one to watch. Just don’t get in her way on the slopes.

@lor1smith

DIEDERIK ZUURMOND

DIEDERIK ZUURMOND

Part philosopher, part chaos agent, and all funny — Diederik Zuurmond brings a deliciously dry, delightfully weird, and totally unforgettable energy to Altitude. Hailing from the Netherlands but spiritually located somewhere between existential crisis and late-night giggles, Diederik is a storyteller who unravels the absurdities of life like a man stuck on a ski lift with only his thoughts for company… and somehow makes it hilarious.

With a delivery that’s as smooth as a fondue and punchlines that sneak up like black ice, Diederik’s comedy is equal parts clever and chaotic. A genuine original with a voice all his own, he’s the kind of act you discover once and tell your friends about forever.

He might not get down the mountain fast, but he’ll have you in stitches all the way.

@diederikzuurmond

ANDREW MAXWELL

KARL SPAIN

A long-time favourite of audiences across Ireland and the UK, Karl Spain returns to Altitude with the relaxed confidence of a man who’s seen it all and is more than happy to mock it. Known for his brilliantly dry delivery, perfectly observed one-liners, and regular role as Kevin Bridges’ go-to support act, Karl’s comedy is as effortlessly funny as it is deceptively sharp. Whether he’s dissecting relationships, ageing disgracefully, or simply surviving ski season without breaking a hip, Karl brings the laughs like a seasoned après pro. Pull up a pint... this man delivers.

ABSOLUTE CUTS

with Mark Nelson & Ryan Cullen

Pitch-black brilliance meets glorious savagery in this brutally funny podcast where nothing is sacred, everything is mocked, and the audience is in on the carnage. Expect controversy, cackles, and cold mountain air as two of the sharpest comics in the UK pull no punches and take no prisoners. From roast-level takedowns to near-illegal punchlines, this is for those who like their comedy with bite, bark, and a strong drink to cope. It’s therapy, if your therapist was a Scottish psychopath and a deadpan Irish nihilist. Recorded live, at altitude, with nowhere to hide.

MUSIC OR MADNESS OR MAYHEM...

DIEDERIK ZUURMOND

OH MY GOD! IT'S THE CHURCH

🎧⛪️ PREACH AND PARTY, PEOPLE! ⛪️🎧

The congregation is back in session and this time, they're bringing the funk direct to the dancefloor.

We’re beyond thrilled to welcome the almighty duo of Oh My God! It’s The Church back to Altitude 2026 this time with a series of outrageous, soul-shaking DJ sets led by none other than Sister Mary Lou who'’ll be spinning sacred grooves, dropping sinful beats, and turning ski boots into dancing shoes wherever she goes.

Their Holy DJ Communion will be shaking up the Ahorn Silent Disco, mountain bars, secret parties and anywhere else we can sneak them in. Expect disco baptisms, sermon samples, sanctified remixes and the kind of confessional-level chaos only these two can deliver.

And this year, they’re not just behind the decks, oh no. Expect the Reverend and possibly a few other robed rogues from the congregation to pop up across the festival or even his own show?. Think ski-lift sermons, pop-up performances, or a few holy surprises when you least expect them.

Sacred. Sweaty. Slightly sinful. Let the church of Altitude rejoice.

@ohmygoditsthechurch

ANDREW MAXWELL

THE ORIGINAL SILENT DISCO

The Silent Disco on the Ahorn is officially BACK for 2026!
A midweek mountain tradition, now holier and louder than ever (in your ears, not your surroundings). Strap on your headphones and prepare to rave above the clouds.

This year’s madness takes place once again at the legendary Ahornhütte on Wednesday, kicking off with our annual Clown Hill Race where brave (and mildly unhinged) comedians race our audience down the mountain for glory, honour, and a questionable prize. Think chaos, costumes, and comedy at altitude… on skis.

Fuelled by high spirits and even higher beats, we’ll be joined by Oh My God! It’s The Church (DJ set) plus surprise guest DJs throughout the afternoon (🤞we’re hoping Brett will be well enough to join the decks again too).

With jaw-dropping views of the Zillertal mountains, top-tier food, flowing drinks, and the kind of vibe that only happens when you mix fresh powder with pure joy, this is the midweek moment of the festival. Whether you're dancing in ski boots, sipping a spritz in the sunshine, or cheering on a comic tumbling past you, the Ahorn Silent Disco is legendary for a reason.

@originalsilentdisco

DIEDERIK ZUURMOND

SISTER MARY LOU
The High Priestess of the Party

Don’t let the habit fool you Sister Mary Lou is here to make you sweat, sin, and throw sacred shapes on the dancefloor. She’s the groove-spinning, crowd-lifting, bass-dropping DJ at the heart of Oh My God! It’s The Church, and she’s bringing her unholy vinyl rituals to Altitude 2026.

Armed with a crate of funk, disco, soul, and sanctified filth, Sister Mary Lou transforms ski boots into dancing shoes and bars into full-blown revival tents. She’ll be behind the decks at the Ahorn Silent Disco, mystery mountain spots, and anywhere else the spirit moves her.
If salvation had a soundtrack...  she’s mixing it.

ANDREW MAXWELL

REVEREND MICHAEL ALABAMA JACKSON
The Messiah of Mayrhofen

He’s back. Part preacher, part party-starter, part alpine enigma The Reverend Michael Alabama Jackson returns to Altitude with a mission to save your soul and your après.

Whether he’s conducting an improvised mountaintop sermon, baptising a bar crowd in disco, or simply appearing where the vibes demand divine intervention, the Reverend is a chaotic, soulful, magnetic force of comedy and charisma. This year, he's not just blessing beats he may just be blessing the entire festival.

Will he perform a service? Launch a cult? Lead a chairlift choir? Only the mountain knows. But one thing’s for sure it’ll be magical, musical, and mildly blasphemous. Amen to that.
