Following a little hiatus from the slopes, Terry Alderton is back! The hills are alive with the sound of BONKERS! Having traveled the world, winning numerous awards including the Best International Act at the New Zealand Comedy Festival, Terry will be back to headline the Gala Show on the Tuesday luring us into his psychedelic world to teach us about his ‘voices’.
In the last year alone he has played the Melbourne Australia Comedy Festival, New Zealand Comedy Festival, India and Edinburgh Comedy Festival. Terry has been Perrier nominated in Edinburgh and recently won the 3 Weeks Critics award.
This frequent traveling has meant performing alongside some of comedy’s biggest stars. Michael McIntyre has found Terry as a source of inspiration. He has recently worked with Joan Rivers who became an instant fan and Eddie Izzard who proclaimed him to be a ‘very funny comic with a fantastic comedy mind’, but someone who really ought to seek some sort of professional help.
Terry starred in The BBC’s Michael McIntyre Comedy Road Show, SKY One’s The Match 2004, a regular fire fighter in ITV1’s London Burning in 2002, and also hosted in his own radio show, ‘Terry’s Turnstiles’ on London’s Capital Radio FM. Terry also hosted the BBC’s National Lottery, ‘Red Alert’, with Lulu for the BBC Joy of Text(BBC1) Winning World Cup Tickets(ITV1) It Shouldn’t Be On TV (Sky1) Bleeding Thumbs(BBC2) Game Stars(ITV1).

The Cuban Brothers
It’s long been said that Cubans sing when they speak, dance when they walk, and woo with a love song. They’ve brought their #sexyfavours to Mayrhofen / Hippach im Zillertal so many times over the last 15 years that it is believed that over 20% of the local school children were fathered by Miguel himself.
From humble beginnings, Miguel Mantovani, Archerio Mantovani and Kengo San have built Los Hermanos Cubanos – The Cuban Brothers – into a legendary outfit that continuously sells out shows across the globe.
Not only the entertainment of choice for Elton John, Richard Branson and Robbie Williams, the trio has supported James Brown, Chuck Berry, Fatboy Slim, De La Soul and performed with The Prodigy, Q-Tip, Chic, Roy Ayers and Jocelyn Brown, as well as touring the world 20 times over.
So Sexy! So Nice!

Eddie the Eagle
Who could be more fitting to join us in the beautiful mountains of Mayrhofen than the legendary Eddie the Eagle! He’s the unique British sporting hero with an incredible story to tell, a blizzard of hilarious anecdotes, soaring highs and bump landings. Despite landing in last place at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, a short-sighted plasterer from Gloucester jumped straight into the hearts of the public. Eddie is bringing never-before-told tales and will be regaling us all with his truly unique story of flying against-all-odds and turning failure into success, showing what’s possible when you dare to follow your dream.
‘A solid gold winner’ – Empire
Andy Askins is a diminutive figure who exudes an air of vulnerability as he steps up to the microphone armed with a guitar and a cheeky grin. It’s an overwhelmingly misleading demeanour which serves to heighten the impact of the killer lines that he delivers.
Andy has an expertly crafted routine littered with an eclectic mix of offbeat original comic songs and parodies. A talented musician with a captivating voice, popular songs have been re-written and given a perverse twist to tremendous comic effect. With a wickedly dry sense of humour, Andy’s darker material is sweetened by his innocent and impish demeanour which never fails to leave audiences in the palm of his hand. With impeccable timing, the inventive and quirky songs are peppered with inspired patter – the material is as strong as the songs and delivered in an inimitable modest and self-deprecating style.
On TV screens, Andy was recently invited to appear on The John Bishop Show, performing a storming set at the Hackney Empire. Having impressed audiences and executives alike, Andy has then invited back to perform on this year’s John Bishop Christmas Show. Andy has also recorded a set for the latest series of Comedy Central’s The Comedy Store, and has performed on two series of The World Stands Up, also for Comedy Central.
“ALTHOUGH HE LOOKS MILD-MANNERED AND STUDIOUS, HE ACTUALLY PACKS A WRY, CHEEKY WIT. THERE IS, MOST DEFINITELY, SOMETHING WARMLY ALLURING ABOUT HIM. HIS WINNING PERSONA GOES A LONG WAY.” Chortle

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without Macauley Culkin – but we couldn’t afford him so we’ve booked cheap lookalike Daniel Sloss instead. Scotland’s comedy prodigy and Altitude’s birthday boy Daniel Sloss started performing stand-up at the tender age of 16. Now an entire decade on, his success is snowballing out of control. As well as tickling the schnitzels of audiences worldwide with his unmissable live tours, his TV accolades include Conan (making 4 guest appearances in one year- the only stand-up ever to achieve this), 2015’s John Bishop Show, Sunday Night at the Palladium and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.
Look out for this talented young clown hurtling down the mountain on his snowboard this festival, most probably donning a penguin costume.

The International Improv Allstars
Altitude wouldn’t be Altitude without the Improv Allstars at Après-ski. The format is simple. Three sexy, sexy guys improvise a full hour of comedy based entirely on your suggestions. In the capable hands of these seasoned improvisers, anything can happen. And it will. Especially if a guest comedian slightly less experienced in the art of improv is mercilessly hurled into the mix.
Andy Smart (Comedy Store Players), Steve Frost (Who’s Line Is It Anyway?) and Ian Coppinger (The Panel) will bring you a show that can only happen in that way on that night that once.
“Joyfully funny” – Three Weeks

OH MY GOD! IT’S THE CHURCH
It’s time all you sinners went back to church. To a service where party is the new praising, where you’ll be baptised in absinthe and made to dance with the devil himself. Hell, even Jesus get’s down and dirty at this show!
‘Oh My God, It’s The Church’ is a raucous interactive party experience and parody of a Deep South Pentecostal church brimming with the best soul, blues and disco tunes. Fronted by the insane pastor ‘Michael Alabama Jackson’ the service leads the audience through a sermon of serious partying. Since it’s premiere in May 2013 the show has moved from the fringe tents onto the main music stages at numerous festivals including The Secret Garden Party, Isle of Wight Festival, Bestival and the Edinburgh Fringe. The rest of 2015 saw even more conversions as The Church continued its Divine Mission touring with the raucous Molotov Jukebox around the UK and performing a special service at the Madness House of Fun Weekender in November. Think Sister Act on speed as the converts keep on growing!
Fusing music, dance, theatre and comedy the show comprises of one preacher, three choirgirls and an organ player who create an all-encompassing Pentecostal parody party experience that engages the audience from the very first hymn. Come and kiss the ring of redemption, get ready to Sin, be saved and then Sin all over again in this holy and hilarious hootenanny.
